BMEC was founded by a group of three medical and research professionals who sought to make frontier technologies and methodologies accessible to Singapore’s rapidly developing healthcare and research landscape.
Guided by the belief that everyone has the potential to go further, we see our role as identifying gaps and delivering the right solutions and tools that empower individuals to live life to the fullest. This founding purpose continues to steer us today, as we pursue our vision of becoming a leading Asian technology company in healthcare and sports.
Established in 1988 and now part of Boustead Singapore Ltd (Forbes Asia 200 Best Under A Billion), BMEC Pte Ltd has grown into a recognised leader in enabling transformative healthcare technologies across Sport Science, Rehabilitation, Healthcare Simulation (Medical Education), and Wound Care Solutions.

ISO 9001:2015
BMEC Singapore is certified to operate a Quality Management System which complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 for the scope of “sales and maintenance of bio-medical equipment and system”.
GDPMDS
BMEC Singapore has achieved the certification of Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices (GDPMDS) – SS620:2016(2021), which qualifies that products are consistently imported, stored, distributed, as well as installed and serviced under suitable conditions as required by the marketing authorisation or product specification.
Progressive Wage (PW)
BMEC Singapore has been accredited with the Progressive Wage (PW) Mark, which is an accreditation scheme that recognises eligible firms that pay progressive wages to lower-wage workers, while providing them with support in terms of career development, workplace safety and health.
bizSAFE 3
BMEC Singapore has been awarded the bizSAFE Level 3 by the Workplace Safety and Health Council, which recognises our company’s commitment to the bizSAFE programme and achievement in workplace safety and health (WSH) performance.
