Optima Turn
Wellell Optima Turn is an automated lateral rotation mattress designed to support pressure redistribution for bedbound and immobilised patients at high to very high risk of pressure injuries. The system combines automated 30-degree lateral turning with alternating pressure therapy, helping caregivers deliver consistent repositioning while reducing the physical demands associated with frequent manual handling. Its supportive side bolsters provide stability and help protect patients from contact with the bed rails during turning.
Optima Turn features individually deflatable heel air cells, allowing caregivers to personalise heel offloading according to the patient’s body shape and care requirements. Its side bolster design also provides space for drainage tubes, helping the mattress fit more readily into existing care routines. Suitable for critical care, neurological care and long-term care environments, the system supports both patient comfort and more manageable repositioning workflows.
Benefits of Optima Turn:
- Automated Lateral Turning: Provides controlled 30-degree repositioning to support consistent pressure redistribution
- Continuous Pressure Relief: Combines lateral rotation with alternating pressure therapy during the turning cycle
- Reduced Manual Handling: Helps decrease the physical effort and number of caregivers required for repositioning
- Personalised Heel Care: Individually deflatable air cells enable customised zero-pressure heel offloading
- Patient Stability and Comfort: Supportive side bolsters help maintain positioning and reduce contact with bed rails
- Workflow-Friendly Design: Accommodates drainage tubes and integrates into routine patient care more easily

Procare Auto G1
Wellell Procare Auto G1 is a dynamic pressure redistribution mattress designed for patients at moderate to high risk of pressure injuries. Its automatic weight-sensing technology adjusts the support surface pressure according to the patient’s needs, reducing the need for manual pressure setting. Alternating and static low-pressure modes allow caregivers to select an appropriate therapy mode while supporting comfort and pressure redistribution across the mattress surface.
The mattress incorporates a cell-on-cell design that maintains an underlying layer of support in the event of a power interruption. A seat-inflate function provides added stability when the patient is seated upright, while the quiet digital pump includes visual and audible alarms to alert caregivers to changes in system status. An emergency CPR valve allows rapid deflation when required, and the breathable four-way stretch cover supports moisture management and routine clinical use.
Benefits of Procare Auto G1:
- Automatic Pressure Adjustment: Weight-sensing technology regulates mattress pressure without repeated manual setting
- Multiple Therapy Modes: Offers alternating and static low-pressure options for different care requirements
- Power Failure Support: Cell-on-cell construction maintains a supportive lower layer during power interruptions
- Enhanced Seated Stability: Seat-inflate mode provides additional firmness when the patient is positioned upright
- Quiet and Clear Operation: Low-noise digital pump includes visual and audible status alarms
- Practical Clinical Design: Features a CPR quick-release valve and a breathable, water-resistant stretch cover

Procare Auto G2
Wellell Procare Auto G2 is an automated pressure redistribution mattress developed for hypersensitive and immobile patients at high to very high risk of pressure injuries. Proprietary pressure-sensing technology automatically adjusts surface firmness based on the patient’s weight, helping caregivers establish an appropriate pressure setting without manual calculation. Its reduced-pressure alternating mode delivers gentle and consistent pressure redistribution to support patient comfort during extended periods of care.
A dual-compressor pump inflates the mattress in approximately 20 minutes while operating below 30 dBA, helping reduce setup time without creating excessive noise in the care environment. Additional air cells beneath the adjustable therapeutic cells provide underlying support to reduce the risk of bottoming out. Reinforcing sleeves around the air cells further support pressure distribution, postural stability and patient safety.
Benefits of Procare Auto G2:
- Automatic Firmness Adjustment: Pressure-sensing technology regulates the support surface according to patient weight
- Rapid Mattress Setup: Dual compressors inflate the mattress in approximately 20 minutes
- Gentle Alternating Therapy: Reduced-pressure alternation supports comfort for hypersensitive and immobile patients
- Bottoming-Out Protection: Additional lower air cells maintain sufficient underlying firmness and support
- Stable Pressure Distribution: Reinforced air cell sleeves enhance postural stability and consistent support
- Quiet Clinical Operation: Pump noise below 30 dBA helps maintain a calmer care environment

Optima Prone
Wellell Optima Prone is a specialised support surface designed to simplify the care of patients undergoing prolonged prone positioning. It combines head-to-toe alternating pressure therapy with a mechanical shoulder-lifting system that creates space beneath the patient’s chin. This assists a single caregiver with head repositioning while helping reduce the risk of obstructing or displacing airway tubing during the procedure.
The system includes a purpose-designed facial pillow with a sculpted ear pocket, individually deflatable air cells and airflow monitoring to support personalised pressure care. Selected cells can also be deflated to create appropriate routes for airway, dialysis and fluid-management tubing. An LCD interface provides convenient access to alternating pressure settings, therapy timers, shoulder-lift controls, zone pressure settings and system alarms.
Benefits of Optima Prone:
- Simplified Head Repositioning: Mechanical shoulder lifting creates working space beneath the patient’s chin
- Full-Body Pressure Redistribution: Head-to-toe alternating pressure therapy supports prolonged prone care
- Personalised Pressure Care: Individual air cells can be deflated according to patient and procedural requirements
- Purpose-Designed Head Support: Facial pillow and sculpted ear pocket help protect vulnerable facial areas
- Improved Tubing Management: Configurable air cells provide space for airway, catheter and fluid-management tubing
- Accessible System Controls: LCD interface provides convenient adjustment of therapy settings, timers and alarms

Crossover Nio
Wellell Crossover Nio is a convertible powered hybrid mattress that combines the comfort and support of foam with dynamic pressure redistribution technology. Caregivers can adjust the level of support without replacing the mattress or moving the patient onto another surface. This enables care requirements to be adapted more efficiently while reducing the time and physical effort associated with mattress changes.
The system provides both Alternating Pressure and Continuous Low Pressure modes to support ongoing pressure injury prevention. Its Max Firm function automatically resumes the selected therapeutic mode after use, helping maintain continuity of care. A sloped heel section with PetalFlex™ geometric contouring adapts to the heel’s shape to improve pressure distribution, while independently replaceable components simplify maintenance and help extend the mattress’s service life.
Benefits of Crossover Nio:
- Convertible Hybrid Support: Combines foam-based comfort with powered dynamic pressure redistribution
- Care Without Mattress Changes: Allows support levels to be adjusted without moving the patient to another surface
- Multiple Therapy Modes: Includes Alternating Pressure and Continuous Low Pressure settings
- Continuous Therapeutic Support: Automatically resumes therapy after the Max Firm function is used
- Targeted Heel Protection: Sloped foam and PetalFlex™ contouring help redistribute pressure around vulnerable heels
- Simplified Maintenance: Independently replaceable components support faster servicing and longer equipment life
