LIFE/FORM® NG Tube & Trach Skills Simulator

The Life/form® NG Tube & Trach Skills Simulator has been developed to aid with the instruction, training, and practice of vital tracheostomy skills and care for patients with respiratory conditions. The simulator is also designed for instruction of gastrointestinal care procedures through nasal and oral access.

For exceptional realism, hydroxyethyl cellulose can be mixed with water to simulate mucous-like fluids of a real patient. Fluid can be added to the lungs and stomach for realistic tracheostomy care and suctioning. The simulator also allows for the practice of dressing changes and cuff inflation.

Airway Larry

Airway Larry simulates a non-anesthetized patient for practicing intubation, ventilation, suction, and CPR techniques. The trainer allows you to practice oral, digital, and nasal intubation, as well as E.T., E.O.A., P.T.L., L.M.A., Combitube®, and King System insertion. Suction techniques and proper cuff inflation may also be practiced and evaluated. The Trainer Head has the ability to be attached to CPARLENE® CPR manikin, making it a modular component for the Life/form® CRiSis™ Manikin, which allows you to teach intubation and basic CPR on the same manikin.

This trainer has room to maneuver, and a slightly anterior position, making it a great trainer for introductory classes as well as advanced students. Also, applying cricoid pressure changes the position of the trachea and closes the esophagus, so the Sellick maneuver can be realistically practiced. Intramuscular Injection Simulator

The Intramuscular Injection Simulator is designed to provide students with the visual and tactile experience needed to learn intramuscular injection techniques. This simulator has landmarks that can be palpated so that the various injection techniques can be practiced. Unique design and construction give students the opportunity to visualise underlying structures and quickly learn proper injection procedures.

The Intramuscular Injection Simulator is extremely realistic. The skin and muscle textures, as well as bone shape and position, closely resemble a live patient. As a result, perforation of the tissue with a needle duplicates the sensation of administering an actual injection.
