Integrated Services

BMEC offers integrated services in the delivery and commissioning of assessment, rehabilitation and treatment programs. These programs combine comprehensive assessment and intervention using hardware equipment, software intelligence and highly-customised professional guidance from our staff to optimise the wellness and safety of all end-users.

Functional Assessment Centre

The Functional Assessment Centre (FAC) provides tests that objectively measure an individual’s level of function and ability to perform daily functions (ADLs), work-specific, or sports-specific tasks in a safe and dependable manner over a defined period of time.

BMEC Wellness & Rehab Programs

The number of older adults aged 65 years and over is projected to double to 1.5 billion by 2050 as a result of recent advancement in medical, social and economic development. While lifespan continues to increase, health span has been slow to improve, and an older adult is known to spend the last decade of his or her life in poor health due to age related conditions.

Frailty and falls are important health issues that affect older people, which increase with age and are multifactorial phenomena associated with adverse health outcomes. Fall related injuries are common and they result in considerable healthcare utilisation, and are a major cause of long-term pain and functional impairment for older adults. Falls can also affect the physical, psychological and social well-being of the older adults.

BMEC provides specially designed programs that are fast and effective, serving older adults along the continuum of care, is needed to overcome the barriers that are faced by (1) Older adults (2) Service Providers (3) Payors of the system.
